GAME DETAILS
• A trio of Billikens recorded double digits in the scoring column, but Richmond came out on top, 61-54, Sunday afternooon in an Atlantic 10 Conference game at Chaifetz Arena.
• The Billikens moved to 2-3 in league play and 6-11 overall, while Richmond went to 13-8, 4-4.
• Brooke Flowers' second bucket of the first period put the Billikens up 14-7 with 2:15 remaining in the quarter, but Richmond ended the frame on a 9-0 run to take a two-point lead.
• The Spiders outscored SLU 10-3 in the final five minutes of the first half and took a 32-23 lead into the break.
• The Billikens started the third quarter hot, scoring 12 of the first 14 points and taking a one-point lead (35-34) at the 6:15 mark. Richmond responded with a 7-0 run to regain the lead and held a 46-40 advantage at the end of the period.
• Natalie McNeal posted nine points in the fourth quarter, but Richmond was able to hold on and take a 61-54 victory.
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• McNeal led the for the Billikens with 15 points and eight rebounds.
• Ciaja Harbison and Flowers each tallied 13 points. Flowers added seven rebounds and four blocks, while Harbison had four rebounds and three assists.
• Julia Martinez collected a game-high 13 rebounds, including a career-best eight on the offensive glass.
