Saint Louis scored five unanswered goals on its way to a 5-1 win over Maryville Wednesday afternoon at Maryville Field in St. Louis, Mo.
The Saints scored their lone tally in the first minute of the matchup, but the Billikens responded with goals in each quarter, including two in the second frame.
Julia Rooijakkers got the scoring started for SLU with her first goal as a Billiken midway through the first quarter.
Pendergast posted her first of two goals in the second quarter to give SLU a 2-1 lead. She scored on a breakaway feed from
Sydney Altemose.

Abby Vidas gave the Billikens a 3-1 lead at the break with her second tally of the season late in the first half.
Pendergast scored again at 39:14, marking the first two-goal game of her career, this time with an assist from
Savina Purewal. Pendergast became the second Billiken this season with two goals in a single contest, joining
Josefina Perez (Queens, Oct. 10).
Jenna Klaers put an exclamation mark on the game for SLU with a goal at 52:46, her second goal on the season.
SLU's five goals tied for the most in a game this season, while the Billikens' 25 shots were the second highest. The Billikens earned a season-high 13 penalty corners.
