Lyndsey Heckel registered the first two-goal game of her collegiate career,
Sophia Stram collected two assists for the first time as a Billiken, and 10th-ranked Saint Louis advanced to the Atlantic 10 Championship semifinals with a 3-0 quarterfinal victory over Loyola Chicago Saturday afternoon at Hermann Stadium.
•Top-seeded SLU (18-1) will host No. 6 Saint Joseph's, a 1-0 upset winner over No. 3 VCU Friday night, in a semifinal match Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. The championship bracket is re-seeded following the quarterfinals, with the highest remaining seed facing the lowest remaining seed in the semifinals.
•No. 2 Dayton hosts No. 4 Davidson in Wednesday's other semifinal.
•With the victory, Saint Louis extended its school-record winning streak to 16 games (also the longest active streak in NCAA Division I women's soccer); tied the 2018 Billikens for most wins in a season (18); and matched the school record for the longest unbeaten streak (16) set by the 2019 team.
•The shutout was the Bills' 13th of the year, equaling the school record set by five previous teams.

Emily Puricelli tallied her school-record 18th victory in goal, breaking the previous mark of 17 set by
Olivia Silverman in 2018.
•Heckel (
Katie Houck, Stram assists) snapped a 0-0 tie with her first goal in the 50th minute and, assisted by Stram, made it 2-0 with her second in the 56th minute.
Hannah Sawyer netted an unassisted goal in the 69th minute to close the scoring.
•No. 8 seed Loyola Chicago, playing its first season in the A-10, finished with an 8-8-3 record.

•Saint Louis improved to 18-5-1 all-time in A-10 Championship play. The four-time defending champion Billikens have won 12 consecutive tournament games.
•In addition to owning the longest current winning streak in the nation, SLU leads Division I women's soccer in wins (18) and winning percentage (.947).
•SLU is now 60-6-6 (.875) in its last 72 games at Hermann Stadium. The shutout was the Bills' 45th during that stretch.
•Saint Louis increased its school season record for goals (59) in a season. The Billikens have a plus-50 goal differential this season.
