MATCH NOTES: Saint Louis
• Saint Louis continues Atlantic 10 Conference play with a pair of weekend matches against George Washington in Washington, D.C.
• The Billikens are 19-8 all-time against the Colonials, including victories in the previous four matchups.
• SLU sits alone in third place in the A-10 standings, behind unbeaten Davidson and Loyola Chicago. The Billikens and Davidson square off next weekend.
• With 169 on the year, SLU continues to lead the NCAA in service aces. Billikens occupy the top two spots in the A-10 in service aces, led by Carlie Rodgers and her NCAA fifth-ranked 40 aces. Entering the week, the Billikens were one of just three teams nationally to have more than 130 aces on the year.
• On top of her service aces, Rodgers is second in the league with 4.69 digs per set.
• Jillian Mattingly is second in the A-10 with a .357 hitting percentage. Over the last five matches, or the start of A-10 play, the middle blocker is hitting .417 with 2.65 kills per set. Her career .370 hitting percentage ranks 13th among active players in the NCAA and would be second all-time for the Billikens.
• The Billikens swept George Washington in both meetings last season. Delaney Rice combined for 30 kills in the two matches, 5.0 per set.
• Rookie Addy Polk has registered a service ace in three straight matches, including a four-ace contest against George Mason last weekend.
• Kate Aupperle is on a streak of five 30-plus assist efforts to open A-10 play. She tallied a season-best 40 at Rhode Island on Sept. 23.
