GAME DETAILS
•Saorla Miller scored the game's only goal in the 64th minute, and Memphis held on for a 1-0 victory over 10th-ranked Saint Louis in an NCAA Championship first-round game Saturday at Hermann Stadium.
•SLU, the Atlantic 10 Conference regular-season and tournament champion and No. 2 seed in its portion of the 64-team NCAA bracket, finished the season with a 20-2 record.
•Memphis, the American Athletic Conference tournament champion, improved to 10-5-5. The Tigers advance to play No. 7 seed Mississippi State in the second round.
•Miller, who scored her fifth goal of the season, was assisted by Mya Jones.
