Here are five additional facts in advance of Tuesday's game against Memphis:

1 // Yuri Collins, last year's NCAA leader in total assists and assists per game, is back leading the NCAA in both categories this year. He had 14 assists and zero (!) turnovers in the season opener against Murray State, and followed that up with a 12-point, 13-assist double-double against Evansville. Collins is on the 2023 Bob Cousy Award Preseason Watch List. The Cousy Award, which is sponsored by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, recognizes the top point guard in men's NCAA Division I basketball (read more).

2 // Javon Pickett has registered double-doubles in each of his first two games this season, the first double-doubles of his career. The 6-foot-5 guard is currently leading the NCAA with 12.0 defensive rebounds per game.

3 // Gibson Jimerson is third in school history in career 3-point field goal percentage (.415) and free-throw percentage (.832). He is also ninth in career 3-pointers made (157) at SLU.
