QUICK PREVIEW 
 
Saint Louis opens up a two-game homestand on Wednesday night when the Billikens play host to the Tennessee State Tigers at Chaifetz Arena. Game time is 8 p.m. (CT).
 
The Billikens (5-2) have played the 19th-toughest nonconference schedule in the NCAA according to KenPom. The Billikens have quality wins against Memphis and Providence. SLU's two defeats have come against teams ranked in this week's AP Top 25 – #15 Auburn and #22 Maryland.
 
Tennessee State, which plays in the Ohio Valley Conference, comes to Chaifetz Arena sporting a 4-2 overall record.

The game will be televised on Bally Sports Midwest and simulcast on ESPN+. Dan McLaughlin and Scott Highmark have the call.

1 // Yuri Collins continues to lead the NCAA in assists (73) and assists per game (10.4). In addition, he needs four more steals to surpass Erwin Claggett for eighth all-time at SLU. Collins is on the 2023 Bob Cousy Award Preseason Watch List. The Cousy Award, which is sponsored by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, recognizes the top point guard in men's NCAA Division I basketball (read more).

2 // The Billikens have won seven in a row at Chaifetz Arena dating back to last season.
 
3 // Travis Ford is one win away from tying John Benington (1958-65) for fourth in school history with 118 wins as head coach of the Billikens.
