Baseball Announces 2023 Schedule

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Saint Louis head baseball coach Darin Hendrickson today announced the team's 2023 spring schedule.

The slate features 26 home games at Billiken Sports Center, 25 road contests and 24 Atlantic 10 Conference matchups.

"This schedule promises to be one of our best challenges yet," Hendrickson said. "We have six games against Big Ten opponents, weekend matchups with very competitive Lamar and San Jose State teams and a tough A-10 schedule. Our players are up for the challenge and welcome the tradition of being in the top of the conference."  

For the fourth time in the last five years, the Billikens will open their season at Hoover Metropolitan Complex in Hoover, Ala. SLU will take on Marshall for a three-game weekend series beginning Feb. 17.

Following a seven-game road stretch to open the season with contests against Marshall, Minnesota and Southern Illinois, the Billikens return home for 11 of their next 12 games. The home opener is set for March 3 against St. Thomas.

A-10 play kicks off at home against Massachusetts March 31. The Billikens will also welcome Saint Joseph's, George Washington and Fordham to St. Louis, Mo., for league matches, while they'll travel to St. Bonaventure, Dayton, VCU and Davidson in conference action.

The Billikens return 14 players from last season's team, a squad that finished with a 29-24 record a the third seed in the A-10 Championship. SLU welcomes in 21 newcomers.
