Saint Louis opens December by hosting the Southern Illinois Salukis on Saturday afternoon. Game time at Chaifetz Arena is 3 p.m.
 
The Billikens (6-2) are coming off an 80-63 win over Tennessee State (recap). Southern Illinois (5-2) is coming off a win at Evansville in the Salukis' Missouri Valley Conference opener.
 
Saturday's game serves as a doubleheader with the women's team, which hosts Illinois State at 7 p.m. Fans who purchased tickets for the men's game are welcome to stick around to catch the women's game free of charge.

1 // Yuri Collins is coming off a school-record 20 assists and just one (!) turnover against Tennessee State. He continues to lead the NCAA in assists (93) and assists per game (11.6). Collins is on the 2023 Bob Cousy Award Preseason Watch List.
