GAME DETAILS
• Saint Louis held George Mason to just 35 points, Brooke Flowers tallied her 26th career double-double and the Billikens knocked off George Mason Wednesday night in an Atlantic 10 Conference game at EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Va.
• The Billikens moved to 5-8 in league play and 9-16 overall, while George Mason dipped to to 8-18, 2-12.
• 35 points are the fewest SLU has allowed in a game this season, 11 less than Saint Joseph's 46 points on Feb. 16.
• Along with her double-double, Flowers tied a career high with seven blocks.
• SLU outrebounded the Patriots 51-30.
• Four Billikens found the scoring column in the first quarter, leading to a 12-10 SLU advantage at the end of the frame.
• SLU held the Patriots to just four points in the second quarter, a season-best for the Billikens. GMU recorded its first and only field goal of the frame with 6:49 remaining in the half. The Billikens went on an 11-2 run from there and led 25-14 at the break.
• Sevval Gul collected six of the Billikens' final eight points in the third quarter and helped SLU to a 40-24 edge at the end of the period.
• The Billikens outscored GMU 18-11 in the fourth and ended the game on a 10-5 spurt to come away with the road victory.
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Flowers posted 12 points and 16 rebounds and tied a career best with seven blocked shots. She passed Sadie Stipanovich for second all-time on the Billikens with 902 rebounds. The double-double was Flowers' eighth of the season and 26th of her career.
• Ciaja Harbison finished with 12 points, five rebounds and four assists.
• Gul had eight points and seven rebounds in just 11 minutes of action.
