GAME DETAILS
• Colten Schild recorded his first career home run, but Saint Louis fell 15-7 to Oral Roberts Sunday evening at J.L. Johnson Stadium in Tulsa, Okla.
• The Golden Eagles improved to 3-2, while SLU moved to 1-3.
SCORING
• Oral Roberts used three hits to score three runs in the first inning. Justin Quinn and Caleb Denny each connected on RBI triples in the frame.
• The Billikens plated three runs in the top of the third inning on a Schild two-run home run and an RBI double off the bat of Kyle Fitzgerald.
• The Golden Eagles responded with an RBI single in their half of the third, regaining the advantage at 4-3.
• ORU collected three runs in the fourth and another in the fifth.
• Cole Smith (two RBIs) and Matt Happ connected on back-to-back RBI doubles in the top of the sixth inning , cutting the Golden Eagle lead to 9-6.
• Oral Roberts answered with two runs in its half of the sixth and another two in the seventh.
• Smith scored on a passed ball in the eighth inning.
