O'FALLON, Ill. – Saint Louis women's tennis posted its fifth consecutive win Sunday morning, blanking Chicago State 4-0 at St. Clair Tennis Club to improve to 6-4 on the season.

Norhan Hesham pointed SLU in the right direction with a 6-3 No. 2 doubles victory over Susana Andres and Katarina Dukic. The Billikens collected the doubles point when
Lucija Faj and
Elizabeth Mintusova topped Lizi Morgoshia and Kristina Pukhaeva 6-4 at No. 3.
Mariona Perez claimed Saint Louis' first singles win, 6-2, 6-0 over Katarina Drazic at No. 3. Spencer ousted Andres 6-4, 6-3 at No. 5, and Mintusova's 6-4, 7-5 triumph over Pukhaeva at No. 2 clinched the match.
"We played great today as a team with our doubles," head coach
Justin Stuckey said. "Chicago State brought the energy into singles, but we were ready to match it and finished strong."
The Billikens host Eastern Illinois Wednesday, March 2, at noon.
