GAME DETAILS
• Southeast Missouri State defeated Saint Louis 16-5 Tuesday afternoon at Capaha Field in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
• The Redhawks improved to 6-1 on the season, while SLU moved to 1-5.
SCORING
• The Billikens scored two runs in each of the first two innings, using sacrifice flies in both frames.
• SEMO collected three runs in the first inning and five in the second to go up 8-2 in the contest.
• The Redhawks added another two runs in the bottom of the third and one in each of the fourth and fifth innings.
• A bases-loaded walk, drawn by Tyler Fogarty, scored a Billiken run in the sixth.
• A grand slam in the bottom of the sixth capped a four-run sixth for the Redhawks.
• Colin Bergmann connected on a two-run homer in the top of the seventh.
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Matt Turino turned in two hits, including a double.
• The home run was Bergmann's first of the season. He and Fogarty each collected two RBIs.
