• 14th-seeded George Mason defeated Saint Louis 65-50 Wednesday afternoon in the first round of the 2022 Women's Basketball Atlantic 10 Conference Championship at Chase Fieldhouse in Wilmington, Del.
• The Billikens moved to 9-17 on the year, while GMU went to 9-19.
• Julia Martinez led the Billikens with her second career double-double.
• GMU's Tamia Lawhorne collected a game-best 24 points.
