THE BASICS
•Saint Louis was eliminated from the Atlantic 10 Conference Softball Championship with a 10-1 loss to Dayton Thursday evening at George Mason Softball Complex.
•The Billikens finished the season with a 22-29 record.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
•Dayton struck first with two runs in the top of the first inning.
•SLU cut the lead in half with a tally in the second. Allie Herron led off with a single and eventually scored on Jocelyn Abbott's groundout.
•Dayton took command with five runs in the third and added three insurance runs in the seventh.
 
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Sadie Wise collected a single and finished her career on a 12-game hitting streak, going 20-for-40 with nine RBI.
•Cami Newbanks had a double.
•Kristi Stevenson and Kendall Johnson recorded a single apiece.
