ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis volleyball fell in five sets to Southern Illinois Wednesday night in an exhibition match at Chaifetz Pavilion.

The Billikens took frames two and four from SIU, but the Salukis came out on top 15-11 in the final game.

Delaney Rice led the way for SLU with a match-high 18 kills. Carlie Rodgers posted 17 digs, and CeCe Fitz collected a match-best seven total blocks.

SLU opens the regular season August 26 at the Arkansas State Invitational. The Billikens will play two contests on the opening day, beginning at 10 a.m. against Little Rock.
