GAME DETAILS
•No. 12 Saint Louis scored late in the first half and early in the second in a 2-0 Atlantic 10 Conference victory over Richmond Sunday afternoon.
•The Billikens (9-1, 2-0 A-10) extended their winning streak to seven games, the third-longest current winning streak in NCAA Division I women's soccer behind No. 4 Rutgers (nine) and No. 1 UCLA (eight). Richmond slipped to 1-6-2, 0-1-1.
•Lyndsey Heckel, assisted by Jess Preusser, gave SLU a 1-0 lead in the 39th minute. Emily Gaebe (Emily Groark, Hannah Friedrich) made it 2-0 in the 48th minute, and the Billikens shut down the Spiders the rest of the way.

•Saint Louis improved to 6-0 in road games this season, the best road start in program history.
•The Billikens are 9-1 for a second time in the past three seasons. It's their best 10-game record since the 2017 team started 9-0-1.
•SLU has begun the A-10 schedule 2-0 with two road wins for a third time in program history.
•The Bills extended their winning streak vs. Richmond to eight games and now lead the Spiders 11-2-1 in the all-time series (5-1 in Richmond).
•Both Billiken goals featured a player combination that collaborated for the first time this year. For the season, 24 of SLU's 25 assisted goals have been scored by a unique combo.
•Emily Gaebe stretched her point-scoring streak to seven games. Gaebe has 14 points (5G, 4A) during the streak. For the season, she is tied for the team lead in goals (six), assists (four) and points (16).
•Lyndsey Heckel's goal was her second of the year as well as her fourth career game-winner.
•Jess Preusser picked up her second assist of the season and her first career game-winning assist.
•Hannah Friedrich added to her SLU career assists record with her 39th helper (fourth of the season, tying the team lead). It was the 99th career point for Friedrich, who trails only Jamie Perry (104 points) on SLU's all-time list.
•Friedrich registered three shots, giving her 232 for her career to pass Maddie Pokorny for third place in Billiken history.
•Emily Puricelli recorded her 21st career shutout, giving her sole possession of third place on the Bills' all-time chart.
•Emily Groark tallied her second assist of the season.
•The Billikens collected a season high in corner kicks (16) for a second consecutive game while limiting Richmond to four.
•SLU out-shot Richmond 18-5 overall and 7-0 in shots on goal. Gaebe had a game-high four shots.
