MATCH NOTES: Saint Louis
• Saint Louis opens Atlantic 10 Conference play with a pair of weekend matches at Rhode Island.
• The Billikens lead the all-time series with the Rams 22-6 and have won six of the last seven matchups.
• SLU closed nonconference play with an 8-4 record, the highest nonconference win total for the Billikens since 2015.
• Emily Henken was named the A-10 Player of the Week for a second consecutive week Monday, after averaging 3.21 kills and 3.07 digs. Over the last two weeks (six matches), Henken leads the team with 94 kills (3.62 per set) and is second with 64 digs (2.46 per set), while also adding eight service aces and 11 blocks.
• Kayla Richardson was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week Monday after tallying double-digit kills in both matches she competed in last week. She posted a double-double of 13 kills and 12 digs against Kansas City.
• With 102 on the year, SLU continues to lead the NCAA in service aces. Four Billikens occupy a top-five spot in the A-10 in aces, led by Carlie Rodgers' 29, fifth most in the country.
• On top of leading the A-10 in service aces, Rodgers is tops in the league with 5.02 digs per set.
• Sophomore Kate Aupperle became the 19th Billiken to reach 1,000 career assists last Saturday.
• SLU was tabbed for a fourth place finish in the A-10 preseason poll. The team has finished third in six of the last eight seasons.
