Saint Louis looks to extend its unbeaten streak to five on Saturday night when it hosts Loyola Chicago at Robert R. Hermann Stadium in a 7 p.m. kickoff. It is the first Atlantic 10 Conference matchup between the two teams.

Saturday's match is being presented by Edward Jones. It will be streamed on ESPN+ with Colin Suhre on the call.

All fans 21+ with a game ticket have access to Soc-Tober-Fest, presented by Bud Light. The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. on the north hillside inside Hermann Stadium. Fans will have the opportunity to sample various Anheuser-Busch products at Soc-Tober-Fest.

The Billikens (4-3-1, 1-0-1 A-10) are coming off a 2-1 win over Marquette on Tuesday thanks in part to a pair of goals by John Klein. SLU is 3-0-1 in its last four matchups.

Klein leads the Billikens in scoring with 11 points (5G, 1A). Christian Buendia and Alberto Suarez have two goals apiece. Seth Anderson and Max Floriani have each recorded a team-best two assists. Carlos Tofern has been in goal the last four games. For the year, he has made 20 saves and sports a 1.00 goals against average. He is tied for 14th among active goalkeepers in the NCAA with 16 career shutouts.

Loyola Chicago (5-1-2, 1-1-) moved from the Missouri Valley Conference to the Atlantic 10 Conference last summer. The Ramblers' lone loss this season came at Duquesne, which is ranked No. 24 in this week's United Soccer Coaches national poll. The Ramblers have outscored their opponents by a combined total of 15-4 on the season. Billy Hency is leading the way with 11 points (4G, 3A), followed by John Gates with seven points (2G, 3A). Julian Cisneros has a team-high four assists. Goalkeeper Simon Jillson has a 0.52 goals against average and ranks second in the A-10 with four shutouts.

Here are five additional facts in advance of Saturday's matchup against Loyola Chicago.

1 // John Klein had his sixth multi-goal game of his career Tuesday with two tallies against Marquette. He now has 77 career points (27G, 23A) to rank 17th in school history.

2 // Saturday's game features four players on the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List. SLU seniors John Klein and Alberto Suarez represent the Billikens. For Loyola, Billy Hency and Michael Hong are on the preseason Watch List. The Hermann Trophy, presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club, is the nation's highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year.

3 // Last season, SLU became the first men's soccer program since 1993 to post a perfect Atlantic 10 Conference record (8-0-0). This year, all 14 programs have either a loss or a tie through the first two weeks of the A-10 season.

4 // The top eight teams advance to the A-10 Men's Soccer Championship. The tournament will be played all on campus sites this year. If SLU hosts a quarterfinal match, it will be played Friday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. If SLU hosts a semifinal match at Hermann Stadium, the game will take place Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. The A-10 Championship final will be played Sunday, Nov. 13.

5 // While this is the first A-10 matchup between the teams, it is not the first time that Loyola Chicago and Saint Louis have played. This is the ninth meeting all-time between the teams, with SLU leading the series 7-1-0. The last matchup came in 2009, when SLU defeated the Ramblers 3-1 at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois.
