GAME NOTES: Saint Louis | Duquesne
Saint Louis (6-14, 2-3 A-10) plays the first of two consecutive road contests when the Billikens take on Duquesne (12-6, 2-3 A-10) Wednesday, Jan. 18, at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh.

Tipoff is slated for 5 p.m. CT on ESPN+. Additionally, Colin Suhre has the call on SLUBillikens.com.

The Dukes lead the series 13-7, including a 71-62 win last season in St. Louis. In that game, Marisa Warren scored 15 points and Brooke Flowers grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds.

Saint Louis scored 56 second-half points -- the Billikens' highest total in any half this season -- and pulled away in the fourth quarter to defeat Dayton 80-69 Sunday afternoon at Chaifetz Arena. Duquesne is coming off an 83-62 loss at A-10 co-leader Fordham Saturday.

KEY STORYLINES
•Julia Martinez is the A-10 Player of the Week for Jan. 9-15. Martinez led the Billikens with averages of 16.0 points, 6.0 assists and 4.5 steals as well as 76.5 percent field goal shooting, and she added 9.5 rebounds per game. Against Dayton, she had game highs of 18 points and a career-high eight steals – just one shy of the school record – and added five rebounds, four assists and two blocks. She narrowly missed the first triple-double in program history in the Rhode Island game, tying for team-high honors with 14 points, matching her career best with a game-high 14 rebounds and dishing out a game- and season-high eight assists.
•Led by Brooke Flowers' six rejections, the Billikens registered a school-record 13 blocked shots in Sunday's win over Dayton.
•SLU leads the A-10 in blocks per game (5.2, 17th in the nation) and steals per game (9.8); ranks second in offensive rebounds per game (13.6) and turnovers forced per game (18.2); and is third in free throw percentage (.773, 27th in the nation).
•Three Billikens lead an A-10 statistical category – Brooke Flowers in blocks per game (3.95, also leads the nation), Julia Martinez in steals per game (3.3, ninth nationally) and Kyla McMakin in free throw percentage (.878, 35th nationally).
•Brooke Flowers is on pace to comfortably set the Saint Louis single-season record for blocks. Flowers has 79 rejections – already third most in Billiken history – and needs only 12 more to break Arlene Lampe's school mark of 90.
