GAME NOTES: Saint Louis | Davidson
Following a weekend bye, Saint Louis (6-15, 2-4 A-10) travels to North Carolina to face Davidson (10-9, 3-2 A-10) Wednesday, Jan. 25.

The Billikens lead the series 7-3 and have won two straight over the Wildcats, including a 54-51 decision in St. Louis last season. SLU got double-doubles from Sevval Gul (game-high and career-high-tying 14 points, career-high 11 rebounds) and Brooke Flowers (13 points, game-high 15 rebounds) and a near triple-double from Julia Martinez (nine points, eight rebounds, seven assists).

Saint Louis rallied from a 27-point deficit and made it a one-possession game late in the fourth quarter before falling 68-63 at Duquesne last Wednesday. Davidson brings a three-game winning streak into Wednesday's contest, including road victories over VCU (71-60) and Duquesne (66-65) in its last two outings.

KEY STORYLINES
•Kyla McMakin is on the verge of reaching two career milestones Wednesday night. McMakin enters the game with 1,993 points as she looks to become just the 10th active player in NCAA Division I women's basketball to reach 2,000. Additionally, she has 499 career rebounds.
•Julia Martinez ranks among the top 10 in the Atlantic 10 Conference in three categories. Martinez leads the league (and ranks eighth in the nation) in steals per game (3.3); is second in the league (23rd nationally) in offensive rebounds per game (3.8); and stands ninth in the A-10 in total rebounds per game (7.8).
•Brooke Flowers has averaged 12.3 rebounds, including 5.3 on the offensive glass, in the last three games.
•Saint Louis leads the A-10 and is 15th nationally in blocks per game (5.3). The Billikens also top the league in offensive rebounds per game (14.2, 42nd nationally) and steals per game (9.8, 56th nationally).
•The Billikens have averaged 17.9 offensive rebounds over the last seven games.
•SLU's 77.8-percent mark from the foul line is second in the A-10 and 20th in the nation. The Bills are shooting 83.3 percent (105-of-126) from the stripe over the last seven games.
•Saint Louis ranks second in the conference in turnovers forced per game (18.0) and third in free throws made per game (12.6).
