ST. LOUIS – After being selected the College Soccer News National Player of the Week and Atlantic 10 Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, Saint Louis University junior forward
Emily Gaebe was named to the Top Drawer Soccer Oct. 9-15 National Team of the Week on Tuesday.
Gaebe began the week by scoring a career-high six points (two goals and two assists) in a 6-0 win over Massachusetts Oct. 12. It was the Billikens' first six-point performance since 2018. She went on to register SLU's first goal, her team-high third game-winner of the season, in a 5-0 victory at Rhode Island Oct. 15. Gaebe extended her point-scoring streak to seven games, recording seven goals and four assists for 18 points during that span.
Gaebe's three-goal, two-assist effort last week lifted her to the top of the A-10 in goals (nine) and points (24), matching her career highs for a season in both categories. She also leads the league in total shots per game (3.75) and shots on goal per game (1.88), is tied for second in game-winning goals (career-high three), and is tied for third in assists (career-high-tying six).
