GAME DETAILS
•Second-seeded Penn State scored the equalizer in the 87th minute, then tallied the eventual game-winning goal in the first overtime session as the Nittany Lions defeated sixth-seeded Saint Louis 4-3 Sunday afternoon to advance to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship.
•The Billikens' historic season comes to an end with a 19-3-2 record. Penn State (16-2-4) advances to the Elite Eight where it will face top-seeded Clemson.
•Saint Louis fell behind 2-0 in the first half, then responded with three consecutive goals which included Hannah Larson's first career brace. Emily Gaebe scored the other goal for SLU, her team-leading 16th of the season.

Emily Gaebe's goal moved her into sole possession of second place on SLU's career goals list (32) and into third place on the Billikens' career points list (82).
•Gaebe had a game-high six shots, while Hannah Larson recorded a career-high five.
•With her assist, Katie Houck became the 12th different Billiken to record a point in the 2023 postseason.
Hannah Larson's two goals lifted her season points total to 23. The Billikens finished the year with four 20-point scorers for the first time in program history (Emily Gaebe 41, Caroline Kelly 29, Larson 23, Hannah Sawyer 22).
