WBB Preview: Billikens Return Home to Host Ball State Sunday

ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis University (4-4) returns home Sunday afternoon to host the Ball State University (5-1) at 2 p.m.

Key Storylines
  • SLU will play its fifth home game of the season Sunday afternoon, hosting Ball State at 2 p.m.
  • The Billikens are coming off a 59-78 loss to Wichita State Friday night, dropping to 4-4 on the year. Three of the Billikens four losses have come on the road, with its lone home loss in the team's season opener against Drake.
  • The Billikens rank third in the Atlantic 10 in field goal percentage, shooting 43.9 percent from the floor through eight games. 
  • Kennedy Calhoun ranks third in the conference in assists, dishing out 33 to her teammates through eight games.
  • In three of the Billikens' four losses, they combined for nine total makes from beyond the arc.
  • Peyton Kennedy went 12-12 from the floor in the Bilikens win over UIC on Nov. 26, eclipsing SLU's record for a perfect game in both the women's and men's programs.
  • SLU shot a program-best field-goal percentage against the Flames (61.2 percent) eclipsing the former mark of 60.6 against Davidson in 2016
  • The Billikens 4-3 mark in the month of November was the best in the opening month of play since the program posted a 5-2 record to start its 2019-20 campaign.
  • Three of the SLU's four wins this season were in come-from-behind fashion, as SLU outscored both the Tigers, Lady Bears and Flames in the fourth quarter by 15, 17 and 7 points, respectively.
