ABOUT DAVIDSON

Davidson enters Wednesday's game 11-13 overall and 4-8 in A-10 play. Many of the Wildcats' A-10 losses have been close – losing by two points to Fordham, VCU, and George Mason; and losing by four to Saint Louis and Richmond.

Since joining the A-10 in 2014-15, Davidson has won two regular-season titles (2015, 2022) and a tournament title (2018) and has made three NCAA Tournaments (2015, 2018, 2022).

Foster Loyer leads the Wildcats in scoring with 15.9 ppg. He is also tops on the team in 3-pointers (51), assists (105) and steals (39). Sam Mennenga is second on the Wildcats in scoring (15.2 ppg) and leads the squad in rebounding (6.9 rpg).

Matt McKillop is in his first season as head coach at Davidson. He took over the program after his father, Bob McKillop, retired this offseason after 33 seasons as Davidson's head coach. Matt McKillop has been a part of the Wildcats' staff since 2008, and he was named Davidson's associate head coach prior to the 2016-17 season.

THE SAINT LOUIS-DAVIDSON SERIES

This is the 12th meeting all-time between the Billikens and Wildcats in a series that began when Davidson joined the A-10 in 2014-15.

The Wildcats lead the series 8-3, but SLU won the last meeting earlier this year 74-70 at Belk Arena.  That was the Bills' first win at Belk Arena after going 0-4 the previous stops in Davidson.

The Wildcats haven't played at Chaifetz Arena since the 2018-19 season. Davidson has a 2-1 edge over the Bills in games played in St. Louis.

This is the first season that the Billikens and Wildcats are playing a regular-season home-and-home series in A-10 play.
