QUICK PREVIEW

Saint Louis and Duquesne play a pivotal Atlantic 10 Conference game on Saturday night at Chaifetz Arena. Game time is 7 p.m. 

The Billikens, 17-9 overall and 9-4 in A-10 play, enter the weekend in a three-way tie for second. Duquesne, winners of its last four, is one-game back of the group tied for second with an 8-5 mark in conference action. The Dukes are 18-8 overall on the year.

Saturday's game will be televised on Bally Sports Midwest and simulcast on ESPN+. Scott Warmann and Scott Highmark are on the call. 

The radio broadcast will air on the home for the Billikens, KMOX 1120 AM. As always, Billiken Hall of Famers Bob Ramsey and Earl Austin Jr. will be on the call.

1 // Yuri Collins continues to hold the overwhelming lead in the NCAA in assists (249) and assists per game (10.0). He is 19 assists away from breaking his own single-season school record of 267 assists set last year.

2 // Gibson Jimerson leads the Billikens with 13.5 ppg. He is shooting 50 percent from 3-point range (19-38) over the last four games. Jimerson is 21st in school history in career points (1,192) and fourth in career 3-pointers (218).

3 // Francis Okoro is second in the A-10 in rebounding with 8.4 rpg and third in blocked shots with 1.46 bpg.

4 // Javon Pickett, who is fourth on the team in scoring (9.8 ppg) and tied for second in rebounding (4.7 rpg), is the Billikens' active leading scorer with 1,194 career points (950 at Missouri; 244 at SLU).

ABOUT DUQUESNE 

Duquesne enters Saturday's game 18-8 overall and 8-5 in Atlantic 10 Conference play. The Dukes are on a four-game winning streak. The Dukes are one of the surprise teams in the A-10. Despite being picked to finish last in the A-10 preseason poll, Duquesne enters the weekend in fifth place in the league standings. 

Dae Dae Grant leads the Dukes in scoring with 15.3 ppg. He is second in the A-10 in 3-pointers made and first in 3-point field goal percentage. Grant transferred to Duquesne after three years at Miami (Ohio) where he scored more than 1,000 points. 

Jimmy Clark III tops the Duquesne scoring chart in A-10 games only with 12.8 ppg. He leads the A-10 in steals (63) and steals per game (2.42). He is eighth in the NCAA in steals per game.  

Tevin Brewer has handed out a team-high 73 assists despite missing four games due to injury. His 2.81 assist/turnover ratio is second in the A-10 only to Yuri Collins. 

Duquesne is tops in the A-10 with 8.9 3-pointers made per game. 

Head coach Keith Dambrot recorded his 500th career win on Feb. 8 in the Dukes' victory over George Mason. Dambrot coached LeBron James at Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary High School.   

THE SAINT LOUIS-DUQUESNE SERIES 

This is the 34th meeting all-time between the Billikens and Duquesne, with the Dukes holding a 17-16 edge. 

The Billikens are 14-13 against the Dukes in regular-season Atlantic 10 Conference games. In games played in St. Louis, the Billikens lead the all-time series 8-5. 

Last season, the Billikens defeated Duquesne 77-53 in Pittsburgh. Francis Okoro had 14 points for the Bills, while Yuri Collins posted an 11-point, 10-assist double-double.
