Chloe Rhine hit her first collegiate home run and drove in four runs to lead Saint Louis in the Billikens' doubleheader loss to Utah Tech Friday on day one of the Utah Tech Tournament.
SLU was edged 2-1 in the opener and fell 17-5 in the nightcap.
Chloe Wendling was the tough-luck losing pitcher in game one. Wendling tossed six innings, struck out four and allowed just six hits.
Ashley Marietta smashed an RBI double.
In game two, Rhine drove in a first-inning run with a groundout, smacked a solo home run in the fourth and produced a two-run double in the fifth. Also in the fifth,
Kelsey Etling recorded an RBI double.
Natalie Sullivan was 3-for-3 in game two.
The Billikens face Weber State Saturday at noon Central.
