He is the only player in the NCAA averaging a points/assists double-double (11.3 ppg and 10.2 apg) and is vying to become the fifth player in NCAA history to finish a year averaging a point/assists double-double.

2 // Collins need one more assist to become the A-10 single-season assists leader as he would suprass the previous record of 294, set by Temple's Howard Evans in the 1987-88 season. Collins' 848 career assists rank 27th all-time in NCAA history.

The University of Dayton Flyers (Dayton, Ohio) are 20-10 overall and 12-5 in A-10 play. They are second in the league standings and are locked into the No. 2 seed at next week's Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Basketball Championship in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The Flyers are coming off a home victory over La Salle. Dayton had won four in a row and six of its last seven before falling on Feb. 25 at home to George Mason.

DaRon Holmes II, the reigning A-10 Player of the Week, leads the Flyers in scoring with 18.2 ppg. His 53 blocks are second in the A-10. Holmes, the 2022 A-10 Rookie of the Year, is on the watch list for the USBWA Oscar Robertson Award and is a Top 10 semifinalist for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Karl Malone Award.

Toumani Camara scores 13.9 ppg and is second in the Atlantic 10 with 8.7 rpg. He was named A-10 Player of the Week on Feb. 13. Malachi Smith averages 8.6 points and 6.3 assists in A-10 play.

Head coach Anthony Grant is in his sixth season coaching at his alma mater. He is 122-62 at UD, 315-171 in 15 seasons overall.

THE SAINT LOUIS-DAYTON SERIES

This is the 70th meeting between the Billikens and Flyers. Dayton leads the series 40-29. The Flyers have won six of the last seven meetings, including a 70-56 win at UD Arena earlier this season on Feb. 10.

The Billikens won last season's meeting at Chaifetz Arena, 72-61. The Billikens own a 17-14 record against the Flyers in games played in St. Louis.
SLU has played only four other opponents 70 or more times in its history: Drake (84), Cincinnati (78), Tulsa (74) and Bradley (70).
