•Saint Louis softball hosts Bradley and Northern Illinois in the Saint Louis Opening Round Robin Saturday and Sunday, March 11-12, at the Billiken Sports Center.
•The Billikens play at noon and 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday. Bradley is the noon opponent Saturday, followed by NIU. The order of opponents is switched Sunday.
•Bradley and NIU square off in the first game both days -- 10 a.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. Sunday.
•Nationally ranked Kentucky comes to town Tuesday, March 14, for a 4 p.m. single game that will feature twin sisters Gabbie (Saint Louis) and Kayla (Kentucky) Kowalik facing each other.

•Missouri Valley Conference member Bradley, whose schedule has included Purdue and Louisville, comes in with a 7-11 record. The Braves were 26-26 in 2022.
•Northern Illinois of the Mid-American Conference carries a 6-9 mark against a schedule that has included Arizona State, Notre Dame and Kansas. The Huskies defeated Atlantic 10 Conference member Rhode Island 12-0. NIU was 17-28 a year ago.
•Kentucky, ranked 16th by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, took a 13-5-1 mark into this weekend's Southeastern Conference series at Missouri. UK's schedule has included several nationally ranked opponents as well as A-10 member Dayton, whom the Wildcats edged 5-4. Kentucky reached the NCAA Blacksburg Regional final and finished with the No. 21 RPI ranking a year ago.

Gabbie Kowalik was selected Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week for Feb. 27-March 5. It's Kowalik's fourth career Player of the Week honor.
•Saint Louis leads the A-10 and ranks ninth nationally in double plays per game (0.59).
•The Billikens are second in the conference in batting average (.280), fielding percentage (.968), runs per game (4.65), on-base percentage (.375), slugging percentage (.411), home runs per game (0.53) and triples per game (0.35, 28th nationally). They rank third in doubles per game (1.35).

Gabbie Kowalik leads the Atlantic 10 in hits (23) and total bases (42). Kowalik ranks second in home runs per game (0.24), triples per game (0.12) and runs per game (0.88), and fourth in slugging percentage (.700).
