ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis scored seven times in the second inning and rolled to an 11-1 victory over Massachusetts on Sunday afternoon at the Billikens Sports Center, completing a three-game sweep against the Minutemen.

The Billikens improved to 15-10 overall and 3-0 in the A-10 with the win. UMass dipped to 4-15 and 0-3 in the league.

Ten different hitters accounted for the Billikens' 12 hits.
Cole Smith led the way for SLU at the plate with a 3-for-3 performance with three doubles, two of which came in the second inning alone. He also scored twice.

Patrick Clohisy drove in a pair of runs.
Cam Redding doubled, the 200th hit in his Billiken career.

Owen Chaffin got the win for SLU after going five innings and allowing just one run while scattering four hits.

Brock Graf all twirled scoreless innings of relief.

The Billikens broke the game open when they plated seven runs in the second inning. They added a run in the fourth and three more in the fifth. Meanwhile, the Billiken pitching staff shut down the Minutemen after allowing a run in the top of the first.

SLU heads to Edwardsville, Illinois, to take on SIUE on Wednesday. The Billikens are on the road next weekend in A-10 play at St. Bonaventure
