THE BASICS
Saint Louis equaled the school record for longest winning streak Wednesday afternoon with its ninth consecutive victory, a 6-4 non-conference triumph over Lindenwood at the Billiken Sports Center.

SLU (24-22) matched the record set by the 2015 Billikens.

Five different players had at least one RBI, led by Natalie Sullivan's two. Kelsey Etling smacked her fourth home run of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
•Lindenwood took a 1-0 lead in the top of the third inning.
•Etling tied it with her solo homer in the fourth.
•Back-to-back RBI doubles by Sullivan and Gabbie Kowalik put the Bills on top 3-1 in the fifth.
•In the sixth, Sullivan delivered a sacrifice fly, and consecutive bases-loaded walks to Abby Mallo and Jane Kaniecki gave Saint Louis a 6-1 advantage.
•The extra runs proved crucial as Lindenwood plated three runs in the seventh.
