•No. 1 seed Saint Louis (29-24) and No. 3 seed Dayton (35-19) square off in an Atlantic 10 Conference Championship elimination game Friday, May 12, at 1:30 p.m. Central.
•In its first game of the Championship, SLU came out on the short end of a 5-2 score vs. No. 4 seed George Mason. Dayton is 2-1 in tournament play, defeating No. 6 Rhode Island 4-1, losing 7-1 to No. 2 Loyola Chicago, and eliminating Rhode Island 6-0.
•Dayton took two of three from Saint Louis in the regular-season series played April 7-8 in Dayton, Ohio. After the Billikens won the opener 6-4, the Flyers captured game two by the same score before claiming the series with a 2-0 victory in the finale.
•
Gabbie Kowalik had three hits including a home run, three RBI, three stolen bases and four runs scored to lead the Billiken offense vs. Dayton last month.
Jane Kaniecki also had three hits, and
Abby Mallo homered.

Chloe Wendling collected SLU's lone win and recorded a 2.15 ERA in 13 innings.
Kaili Hanner was the tough-luck losing pitcher in game three, allowing just five hits in 6 2/3 innings.
•The winner of the Saint Louis-Dayton contest meets the loser of the winner's bracket game matching Loyola Chicago and George Mason Friday at 4 p.m. Central.
