NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Saint Louis University senior forward Caroline Kelly is the Atlantic 10 Conference women's soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Aug. 21-27, the league office announced Monday. It is the third such honor of Kelly's career.
 
Kelly tallied three goals as the Billikens defeated Creighton 4-1 and Kansas City 8-0 last week. Her first goal was scored in the Creighton game, and she added two markers, including the game-winner, vs. Kansas City.
 
Kelly leads the A-10 and ranks 19th nationally in goals per game (1.00). Her four goals and eight points are Saint Louis bests.
 
In addition, Kelly's three goals last week increased her career total to 23, good for eighth place on SLU's all-time list.
 
Saint Louis hosts Xavier Thursday, Aug. 31, at 7 p.m. The Billikens take on SIUE Saturday, Sept. 2, at CITYPARK in downtown St. Louis, with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m.
