Abbie Miller scored her 10th career game-winning goal in the 88th minute to lift Saint Louis to a 3-2 victory over 24th-ranked and previously unbeaten Nebraska Sunday afternoon at Barbara Hibner Field.
•SLU concluded the non-conference portion of its schedule with a 5-2-1 record. Nebraska of the Big Ten Conference fell to 6-1-1.
•Miller was assisted by
Emily Groark and
Sophia Stram on her second goal of the season. She moved into a third-place tie with Kelly Ferguson, Dee Guempel and Alyssa Seitzer on the Billikens' career list for game-winning goals, just one behind second-place Jamie Perry.
•Nebraska struck first on Eleanor Dale's penalty kick in the 56th minute before Saint Louis grabbed the lead with goals just 3:46 apart.

Jess Preusser, assisted by
Caroline Kelly, picked a good time for her first goal of 2023, netting the equalizer in the 64th minute.
Katie Houck, with
Hannah Larson collecting her team-leading fifth assist of the year, put the Bills in front in the 67th minute.
•Dale, who entered the game tied for the national lead in goals, evened the score with her 12th of the season in the 76th minute. That set the stage for Miller's dramatic game-winner.

•The victory – the first by a road team in the Saint Louis-Nebraska series – gave the Billikens a 3-2 edge over the Huskers.
