SLU, Missouri State Battle to 1-1 Draw

ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis and No. 9 Missouri State battled to a 1-1 draw in nonconference men's soccer action Wednesday night at Robert R. Hermann Stadium.

The Billikens are now 3-3-2 on the season, while Missouri State remains unbeaten at 5-0-2 on the season.

Both teams scored in the first half. The Billikens earned a free kick opportunity and Lawson Redmon sent a ball into the box. It came to Diego Konincks, who headed it past the Bears defense to make it 1-0 Bills in the 12th minute. It was the second goal of the season for Konincks.

Missouri State tied it in the 36th minute when Michael Peck deflected a ball past SLU keeper Mason Hart.
