ST. LOUISBradley Ezewiro scored a career-high 20 points, but a big second half lifted Davidson to an 84-61 victory over Saint Louis Wednesday night at Chaifetz Arena.

The Billikens slipped to 8-11 overall and 1-5 in the Atlantic 10 Conference, while Davidson improved to 12-7, 2-4.

Ezewiro was 6-of-10 from the field and 8-of-10 from the foul line, setting career highs for free throws made and attempted. He tied Terrence Hargrove Jr. and Sincere Parker for team rebounding honors with six boards.

After Saint Louis scored the first six points of the game, Davidson tallied the next eight to produce the first of four first-half lead changes. That was the beginning of the Wildcats' 14-4 run that gave them a 14-10 lead at the 11:09 mark.

The Bills responded with an 8-0 spurt, with four different players recording a bucket, to go on top 18-14 with 7:57 left. Davidson answered with a 10-2 flurry and led 24-20 with 5:14 to play.

SLU, led by Hargrove's five points, outscored Davidson 11-4 down the stretch to carry a 31-28 edge to the locker room.

Davidson began the second half on a 9-0 run to grab a 37-31 advantage. Parker canned 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions to knot the score at 37, but the Billikens could not pull in front.

An 11-2 flurry gave Davidson its first double-digit lead, 51-41, with 13:00 remaining. Two free throws apiece by Hargrove and Ezewiro made it a six-point game, but the Billikens drew no closer.
