WBB Preview: Billikens Hit the Road for Showdown with Flyers

ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis University (8-13, 3-5) continues its Atlantic 10 Conference schedule Wednesday night when the Billikens travel to Dayton (9-11, 3-6) Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. (CST).

The Opening Tip… 
  • Dayton comes into the matchup sitting in 11th in the A-10 with an overall record of 9-11 and a conference mark of 3-6.
  • The Flyers snapped a two-game losing skid Sunday afternoon defeating St. Bonaventure 64-43.
  • SLU enters the matchup with an 8-13 record after falling, 72-61, to Richmond on Sunday afternoon at Chaifetz Arena.
  • SLU will play two-straight road games this week, facing off against Dayton Wednesday night before traveling to Davidson Saturday afternoon.

Scouting the Spiders
  • Richmond comes into the matchup with an overall record of 17-4 and only one conference loss.
  • The Spiders are coming off their first and only A-10 loss of the season falling to Duquesne, 72-59, Wednesday. 
  • Ivy Wolf leads the Flyers' scoring efforts averaging 12.4 points per game.
  • Wolf led the Flyers with 16 points against the Billikens at Chaifetz Arena, while Destiny Bohanon added 14, including four-made three-pointers.
  • Against the Billikens on Jan. 12, the Flyers scored 16 points off of 15 forced turnovers.
  • Dayton shot 46 percent from the floor and 41 percent from three against the Billikens two weeks ago.
  • Arianna Smith is averaging a double-double through 19 games (10.2 points, 11.3 rebounds).
