ABOUT THE BILLIKENS
  • The Billikens (7-8, 0-2 A-10) are searching for their first A-10 win of the season after falling at home against Loyola Chicago and on the road at George Mason.
  • Likewise, Saint Joseph's (10-4, 0-1 A-10) is winless in A-10 play after it dropped its league opener at Rhode Island on Jan. 3. The Hawks were on a bye last weekend.
  • Bradley Ezewiro is four games into his Billiken career and is averaging 16.0 points and 8.0 rebounds. He posted his first career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds Jan. 3 against Loyola Chicago, and he has led the Billikens in rebounding in each of the last three games. Ezewiro became eligible on Dec. 15 with the rest of the NCAA's two-time transfers.
  • Gibson Jimerson (16.3 ppg) has led the Bills in scoring in five out of the last six games. He scored 20 points at George Mason to move into eighth on the Billikens' all-time scoring list.
  • Larry Hughes II tied a career high with 12 points at George Mason. He has combined for seven 3s in the last two games.
  • Terrence Hargrove Jr. averages 13.4 ppg and 6.1 rpg. He shoots 52.2 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from 3.
  • Leading scorer Sincere Parker (17.3 ppg) hasn't played since suffering a broken foot on Nov. 16 vs. Wyoming.
  • SLU has already had six different starting lineup combinations this season, tied for the most in the Travis Ford era (2021-22).
  • The Billikens are 163-137 in A-10 regular-season games. Travis Ford needs two more A-10 wins for 100 in his career.
LAST TIME OUT
  • Saint Louis dropped a 79-67 decision at George Mason on Saturday afternoon in Atlantic 10 Conference men's basketball action at EagleBank Arena.
  • Saint Louis dipped to 7-8 overall and 0-2 in the league with its third straight loss. George Mason won its sixth in a row and improved to 13-2 overall (2-0 A-10), matching its best start in school history.
  • Gibson Jimerson led the Billikens with 20 points, his seventh game of 20 or more points this season. He moved up to No. 8 on the SLU all-time scoring list, passing Tommie Liddell III.
