FIRST SERVE
Two teams looking to rise in the Atlantic 10 Conference standings meet this weekend as Saint Louis (8-11, 3-4 A-10) hosts Davidson (7-11, 3-4 A-10) Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18-19. First serve for Friday's match is scheduled for 4 p.m., while Saturday's contest begins at 2 p.m.
The Billikens and Wildcats begin play Friday tied with Duquesne for fifth place in the A-10. The top six teams at the conclusion of the regular season qualify for the A-10 Championship.
Saint Louis will be halfway through its A-10 schedule at the conclusion of Saturday's match.
SLU leads the series 14-6, but Davidson won twice (3-2 and 3-0) on its home court last season.
PARKING CHANGE FOR FRIDAY'S MATCH
The Fred Weber VIP lot will not be available for Friday's match. Season ticket holders and fans may park for free in the Olive-Compton garage, just a short walk from Chaifetz Arena. The Fred Weber VIP lot will reopen on Saturday.
WEAR PINK ON SATURDAY FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
Saturday's match is the Billikens' Pink Match for Breast Cancer Awareness. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support. The first 75 fans will receive a free pink Billiken T-shirt, and the first 100 fans will receive free admission.

ABOUT THE BILLIKENS
Saint Louis will try to snap a three-match skid that includes a pair of losses at VCU last week. The Billikens are 3-2 at Chaifetz Pavilion this season.

The Bills have moved up to fourth in the A-10 in blocks per set (2.33).
Trinity Luckett and
Kayla Jansen lead the way, ranking second (1.21 bps) and ninth (0.99 bps), respectively, on the individual lists. Luckett also tops the team with a .283 hitting percentage.
Addy Brus leads Saint Louis with 3.88 kills per set, good for second in the league, and 4.35 points per set, ranking third.
Delaney Rice is 13th in the A-10 with 2.63 kills per set.
This weekend's doubleheader matches the A-10's top two back-row players.
Carlie Rodgers ranks second with 4.29 digs per set, while Davidson's Jordan Hummel has a league-best 4.43 digs per set. Rodgers also is sixth in the A-10 with 0.39 service aces per set.
Among active players across all three NCAA divisions,
Carlie Rodgers ranks first in career sets played (508) and ninth in career digs (2,216). Rodgers is fifth in career service aces (191) and 22nd in career matches played (130) among active Division I players.
Delaney Rice is 48th in career sets played (458) among active Division I players.

SCOUTING DAVIDSON
Davidson is second in the conference in assists per set (12.99) and kills per set (13.64), ranking 15th and 30th, respectively, in Division I. The Wildcats also are second in the A-10 in digs per set (15.01) and fourth in hitting percentage (.229).
Isabel Decker is Davidson's top offensive threat, standing fourth in the A-10 in kills per set (3.74) and fifth in points per set (4.18). Emma Slusser's 2.74 kills per set rank 10th in the league.
In A-10 play, Davidson split with Loyola Chicago, George Mason and George Washington and lost a single match vs. VCU. The Wildcats' non-conference schedule included Power 4 conference opponents LSU, Duke and Wake Forest.

The Billikens travel to Rhode Island to take on the Rams Oct. 24-25. Instead of the normal Friday-Saturday schedule, the matches will be played Thursday (6 p.m. CT) and Friday (5 p.m. CT).
