Addy Brus collected a match-high 14 kills and added nine digs in Saint Louis' 3-0 Atlantic 10 Conference loss to Davidson Saturday afternoon at Chaifetz Pavilion.
Carlie Rodgers turned in a match-high 18 digs, while
Kayla Jansen led the Billikens with five blocks and hit .417 (7-2-12).

Set 1 – Davidson seemed to gain control with a 6-2 run that gave the Wildcats a 13-9 lead, but Saint Louis answered with a 7-1 spurt to take a 16-14 advantage. However, Davidson scored 11 of the last 13 points to claim the set.
Set 2 – Davidson was on top 10-7 after the teams traded 5-0 runs. The Wildcats led by four on three occasions, the last an 18-14 edge, before an 8-2 SLU flurry put the Billikens in front 22-20. Saint Louis led 23-22 following consecutive Davidson points, but the Wildcats tallied the final three points.
Set 3 – After the Bills built a 12-6 lead, Davidson surged ahead 15-14 with a 9-2 outburst. SLU regrouped and regained the upper hand at 20-19, only to see the visitors rebound to grab a 24-21 lead. The Billikens fought off two match points before the Wildcats won the deciding point.
The Billikens play at Rhode Island Thursday and Friday, Oct. 24-25.
