SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Saint Louis played to a scoreless draw at No. 13 Missouri State Wednesday in a non-conference men's soccer match in Springfield, Mo.
The Billikens extended their unbeaten streak to 10 and move to 5-2-7 overall. Missouri State is now 10-2-2.
Jeremi Abonnel made five saves for his seventh shutout of the season. He has only yielded one goal in the run of play in the last six matches.
The Bears managed a 10-7 advantage in shots and out-cornered SLU 5-0.
The seven ties for the Billikens matches the school record, as SLU finished the 2018 campaign 6-4-7.
The Billikens resume Atlantic 10 Conference play on Saturday night when they host George Washington at Hermann Stadium. Game time is 7 p.m.
