FIRST SERVE
Saint Louis (9-14, 4-7 A-10) plays three matches this week. The Billikens host Loyola Chicago (11-11, 6-5 A-10) Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 6 p.m. before traveling to Washington, D.C., for contests vs. George Washington (15-9, 5-6 A-10) Friday (5 p.m. CT) and Saturday (1 p.m. CT), Nov. 1-2.
 
Loyola Chicago owns a 16-6 series lead vs. Saint Louis after defeating the Billikens 3-1 in Chicago Oct. 1. A pair of five-set victories last year improved SLU's series advantage over George Washington to 21-11.

ABOUT THE BILLIKENS
Saint Louis split two matches at Rhode Island last week, falling 3-1 and winning 3-2.
 
After averaging 5.38 digs per set in the last four matches, Carlie Rodgers has moved into the league lead (4.48).
 
Trinity Luckett has been prolific at the net recently, averaging 1.45 blocks per set over the last eight matches. Luckett ranks second in the A-10 with 1.22 blocks per set.

Kayla Jansen, who tied the A-10 season high with 12 blocks in the second match at Rhode Island, has moved into seventh place in the conference in blocks per set (1.05).

Delaney Rice has recorded a double-digit kill total in seven of the last nine matches and has moved up to 11th in the A-10 in kills per set (2.65).

Abby Lynn turned in strong performances at Rhode Island last week, posting double-doubles of 20 assists and 12 digs in the first match and 20 assists and a season-high 16 digs in the finale.

Addy Brus is fourth in kills per set (3.63) and fifth in points per set (4.09) in the A-10.
 
SCOUTING LOYOLA CHICAGO
Loyola Chicago posted two 3-0 wins over George Mason last week.

Junior middle blocker Ann Marie Remmes is second in the A-10 and 46th in the nation in hitting percentage (.368), while graduate outside hitter Marta Cvitkovic is second in the conference and 48th nationally in service aces per set (0.44). Remmes adds 0.94 blocks per set.

Also ranking among the league's top 10 are senior setter Bree Borum, second in assists per set (8.99); sophomore middle blocker Avary DeBlieck, fifth in blocks per set (1.07); and Cvitkovic, seventh in kills per set (2.92).

DeBlieck paces the Ramblers with 1.07 blocks per set and hits a solid .299. Borum and freshman libero Jae Fitting average 2.97 and 2.78 digs, respectively.
 
SCOUTING GEORGE WASHINGTON
George Washington, which hosts George Mason Wednesday before taking on Saint Louis, has been streaky in A-10 play this season. After losing their conference opener, the Revolutionaries reeled off five consecutive victories but have since dropped five straight decisions.

GW ranks second in the A-10 and 27th nationally in service aces per set (1.86), third in the conference in opponents' hitting percentage (.199) and fourth in the league in hitting percentage (.232).

Senior outside hitter Salem Yohannes (3.05) and freshman opposite Taylor Treahy (2.79) rank sixth and ninth in the A-10, respectively, in kills per set.

Junior middle blocker Cianna Tejada owns team highs in hitting percentage (.294) and blocks per set (0.93), while graduate libero Reilly Heinrich leads with 3.35 digs per set.
