Carlie Rodgers tallied a team-high 13 digs in Saint Louis' 3-0 Atlantic 10 Conference loss to 19th-ranked and regular-season champion Dayton Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at Chaifetz Pavilion.
Despite the loss, SLU's season will continue as the Billikens claimed the sixth and final spot for the A-10 Championship at the Frericks Center in Dayton, Ohio. Saint Louis will face third-seeded Loyola Chicago in a first-round match Friday, Nov. 22, at 2:30 p.m. Central.
Addy Brus led the Saint Louis attack with nine kills and added six digs and two service aces.

Set 1 – Dayton scored the first four points and maintained command throughout the set.
Set 2 – After dropping the first two points, Saint Louis went on a 10-3 run to lead 10-5. Dayton responded with a 10-3 spurt of its own to go on top 15-13, and after SLU cut the lead to a single point, the Flyers gradually pulled away.
Set 3 – Dayton scored six straight points and led 8-4. Saint Louis answered with two points to cut the margin in half and still trailed by only two, 16-14, before Dayton finished on a 9-1 run.
