•Top-seeded Saint Louis scored a goal in each half and defeated eighth-seeded Davidson 2-0 in an Atlantic 10 Conference Championship quarterfinal Saturday night at Hermann Stadium.
•SLU (12-1-6) advances to the semifinals to face fifth-seeded Saint Joseph's, a 2-1 quarterfinal winner over fourth-seeded Fordham. Game time on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Hermann Stadium is 7 p.m. The Billikens and Hawks tied 1-1 in their regular-season meeting Oct. 3 in St. Louis.
•Davidson finished the season 8-8-3.

Lucie Schwartz's third goal of the season and first career game-winning goal, assisted by
Izzy Luebbert on a corner kick, gave the Billikens a 1-0 lead in the ninth minute. The assist was Luebbert's third of the year.

Lyndsey Heckel provided insurance with a penalty kick in the 59th minute. The goal was Heckel's fifth overall and fourth PK of the season.

Emily Puricelli, who broke Hannah Friedrich's school record with her 105th start as a Billiken, made two saves. The shutout was Puricelli's ninth of the season and 49th of her career, and SLU's 12th clean sheet of the year.
