GAME DETAILS
•Sophia Stram scored two goals and Hannah Larson had a goal and an assist, but No. 1 seed USC escaped with a 4-3 overtime victory over No. 8 seed Saint Louis Friday night in an NCAA Championship second-round game.
•Saint Louis concluded the season with a 15-2-6 record. USC (17-1-3) advanced to play Wisconsin in the round of 16.
•Stram's second goal, assisted by Larson, was scored in the 88th minute just 1:06 after Kayla Colbert had given USC a 3-2 lead.
•The Trojans scored the only goal of the first half in the 12th minute. The Billikens tied it just moments into the second half on Larson's unassisted goal in the 48th minute.
•USC went back in front in the 62nd minute, only to see Stram give a preview of her late-game quick response. Assisted by Hannah Sawyer, she netted the first of her two equalizers 1:19 later to make it a 2-2 game.
•USC's game winner was a penalty kick at the 7:05 mark of the first extra session.

•Stram's goals were her first two of the season. The brace was the second of her career. She became the 16th Billiken to score at least one goal this year.
•Larson's goal was her second of the year, and her assist was her team-leading eighth. She moved into a fifth-place tie on the Bills' career assists list with 22, and into 10th place on the program's career points list with 66.
•Sawyer recorded her fourth assist of the season.
•Emily Puricelli played in her 109th game at Saint Louis. She concluded her career with Billiken records for games played (109), games started (109), wins (82), shutouts (51) and goalkeeper minutes (9,574).
•Despite the loss, the Billikens finished with a winning percentage of .750 or higher (.783) for an 11th time, including three straight and eight of the last nine years, and at least 15 victories for a 10th time, including three straight and seven of the last eight years.
•Emily Gaebe registered a team-high five shots. She finished with 95 shots, breaking her own single-season school record of 93 set last year.
