KINGSTON, R.I. – Saint Louis had its three game winning streak snapped on the road, falling 83-63 to Rhode Island.
The Billikens fall to 0-1 in conference play and 6-8 overall.
The Rams used a 21-9 second quarter to go into the half up 21 points. Saint Louis made a 27-15 run in the fourth, but it was too little, too late.
Brooklyn Gray led the Bills with 19 points, three rebounds, and two assists. Gray also put in work on the defensive end, taking five charges.

Saint Louis returns to Chaifetz Arena on Thursday, Jan. 2 to face UMass for its conference home opener.
