ST. LOUIS – Despite another 30-point outing by
Sincere Parker, Saint Louis fell 95-85 to VCU Friday night in Atlantic 10 Conference men's basketball action at Chaifetz Arena.

The Billikens dip to 9-16 overall and 2-10 in A-10 play, while VCU has now won nine of its last 10 to improve to 17-8 and 9-3 in the league.

Parker finished 10-of-16 from the field, 4-of-6 from the arc and 6-of-9 from the free-throw line. He also posted four steals and dished out two assists. He is the first Billiken to have three-straight 30-point games since Larry Hughes in 1998.

Terrence Hargrove Jr. added 18 points, while
Gibson Jimerson and
Bradley Ezewiro chipped in 13 points apiece.

VCU's 95 points were a Chaifetz Arena record for a Billiken opponent. Joe Bamisile and Max Shulga led the Rams with 27 points and 26 points, respectively. The Rams out-rebounded the Billikens 39-24.

SLU returns to action on Tuesday night when it heads to Pittsburgh to face Duquesne in a 6 p.m. (CT) tipoff.
