HAMPTON, Va. – Saint Louis swimming and diving competed in four relays and men's 1-meter diving Wednesday on day one of the 2024 Atlantic 10 Conference Championships at the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex.
Ben Mears placed fourth in the consolation final and 12th overall in 1-meter diving. Mears tallied 245.45 points in the final, up from 203.85 in the preliminaries.
The men's 200 medley relay team of
Alex Daw,
Brae Sanchez,
Ethan Hoak and
Colton Mosley finished fifth in 1:28.89. SLU placed 10th in the women's 200 medley relay as
Meggie McPherson,
Kenna Cashman,
Elena Escalante and
Karis Reynaga clocked a time of 1:43.71.
In the 800 free relay, the Billiken men and women registered eighth- and ninth-place finishes, respectively. The men's quartet of
Logan Townsend,
Franklin Liu,
Ben Militti and
Adrian Paseta covered the route in 6:42.91, while the women's squad of
Emily Leonard,
Meghan Eng, Reynaga and
Carly McKeon turned in a time of 7:31.79.
