BILLIKEN STATISTICS
•Saint Louis softball hits the road for another tournament this weekend, this one the Governors Classic hosted by Austin Peay Friday-Sunday, March 1-3.
•The Billikens face Indiana State (1 p.m.) and Austin Peay (6 p.m.) on Friday, Ohio (12:30 p.m.) on Saturday, and IUPUI (12:30 p.m.) and Austin Peay (5:30 p.m.) on Sunday.

•Saint Louis stands at 6-4 on the season after going 3-2 at last week's WKU Hilltopper Classic. The Billikens defeated Eastern Illinois 12-0, fell 6-5 to Western Kentucky and 8-0 to Eastern Illinois, and finished the tournament with victories of 17-1 over Detroit Mercy and 10-7 over Western Kentucky.
•Three Billikens earned Atlantic 10 Conference weekly awards for their performances at the Hilltopper Classic.
Cami Newbanks was selected Player of the Week,
Taylor Hochman was chosen Pitcher of the Week, and

•Through games of Feb. 27, Saint Louis ranks among the nation's top 50 teams in five statistical categories. The Billikens are fifth in fielding percentage (.988), 28th in runs per game (6.7), 34th in batting average (.326), 42nd in on-base percentage (.405) and 49th in slugging percentage (.475). SLU leads the A-10 in each of those categories.

Cami Newbanks is ranked among the nation's top 100 players in six categories, including the top 20 in on-base percentage (sixth, .647) and batting average (12th, .542). Newbanks is 26th in walks per game (0.90), 40th in slugging percentage (.917), 60th in RBIs per game (1.20) and tied for 89th in runs per game (1.00).

Abby Ulsas ranks 14th in triples per game (0.22), 32nd in batting average (.500), 54th in toughest to strike out (once every 32 at-bats) and 62nd in runs per game (1.11).

Taylor Hochman is 71st with four wins (4-1). Hochman owns a team-best 2.56 ERA.

Natalie Sullivan is 78th in on-base percentage (.543) and tied for 89th in runs per game (1.00). Sullivan carries a .407 batting average.
•
Isabel Royle is 78th in strikeouts per seven innings (7.8). Royle has a 2.85 ERA and has issued just 2.14 walks per seven innings.
•Saint Louis and Missouri Valley Conference member Indiana State have met once this season, with the Billikens capturing a 5-1 victory at Tennessee State's Roar City Invitational. The Sycamores, who won 32 games a year ago, improved to 8-6 this season by going 4-1 at Memphis' Blues City Classic last weekend.
•Austin Peay, a member of the ASUN Conference, started 5-1 but had lost five in a row prior to its Thursday night game vs. Kansas.
•After losing four of its first five games, Mid-American Conference member Ohio is 9-1 in its last 10 outings for a 10-5 record. The Bobcats were 20-9 in the MAC last season, part of a 32-win campaign.
•IUPUI of the Horizon League brings a 2-12 record to the Governors Classic. That mark may be deceiving, however, as the Jaguars have lost five games by either one or two runs.

UP NEXT: Saint Louis hosts the Billiken Spring Tournament Saturday-Sunday, March 9-10. The Billikens will play four games, two each vs. St. Thomas (Minn.) and Illinois.
