ST. LOUIS – The public is invited to the introductory press conference for new head men's basketball coach Josh Schertz. It is set for Monday, April 8, at 10 a.m. at Chaifetz Arena.
 
Schertz was announced as the new head coach of the Billikens' program on Saturday (read more). He came to SLU after spending the past three seasons at Indiana State, including this past year when he led the Sycamores to a 32-7 record and a magical run to the NIT title game. Schertz also coached 13 seasons at Lincoln Memorial and brings an impressive 403-109 career coaching record to the Billikens.
